Meet Seán Kelly, the twinkly eyed butcher whose father founded Kelly’s Butchers more than 80 years ago. Seán runs the shop with his brother Seamus and his two sons Kenneth and Cormac.
Their traditional family recipes for black and white puddings, and sausages have now won multiple awards and medals at home and abroad. Seán was the first Irish Knight of the Black Pudding. Kelly’s are full service butchers firmly rooted in the local community.
Daughter Shauna welcomes visitors to Kelly’s Kitchen, the cheerful café next door to the butcher’s shop on the main street of pretty Newport on the Wild Atlantic Way.
